As for your case Jaspun86, as long as you have a valid script for the wellbutrin and have been taking it as directed, you should be protected from an employer's consequences for testing positive. I hope that is your case and that you are not fishing for a way out of a jam. I take wellbutrin xl, it can cause a false positive for amphetamines.I agree with Laurie, show them everything that can help you as she says ( prescription, etc... ).Take care. Hey Jaspun,Wellbutrin XL is an antidepressant that should not affect the drug test. What did you show dirty for? Do you have a doctor's prescription for this med? Be sure to advise the folks who are drug testing you that you take this medication by showing them the bottle or prescription and you should be alright.
