Is ibuprofen a painkiller

Sounds great. I'd like to know what (specifically) was in the bottle. I have seen advertised some products that numb the area and help with anal sex specifically, not just as a lube, but as a painkiller.

Medical stuff:
Fracture = broken. We have lots of terms to describe the fracture, but a fracture is a break.
People can walk on a broken ankle if they are tough enough to take the pain and the tibia is not where the fracture is.
She would have had an x-ray about a week after the surgery to confirm it was well healing.
Plaster? We more often use water activated fiberglass these days. Less heat as it cures, sets quicker.
Very likely she would have been put in a walking boot.
Advil = Motrin = ibuprofen. Each pill is 200mg, so three were a good choice, four a bit better. Redose after six hours if the pain has returned.

I like your story. Your caveat about discontinuities at the top was way too understated, they were jarring, but I get it. I've been there myself, but please remember to come back and clean up later, you're going to throw a lot of people off.
OK, big problem: Never, ever, ever take Advil and Tylenol together! Ever! Tylenol is Acetaminophen, it's a blood thinner. Advil is Ibuprofen, it's an anti-inflammatory that will also irritate your stomach lining. So between the two, you'll end up with a bleeding ulcer. I think the standard recommendation is to separate them by at least twelve hours, though I just stick to one. So unless you're TRYING to mess Hayley up even worse than she already is (bruised, battered, hung over), PLEASE stick to one or the other.
PS: Yes, this is a pet peeve. Yes, I've personally had a problem with both drugs. Google it if you don't believe me.

There are a few Doctors and Nurses who read these stories by the way.....16 to 17 inches will not only go through the rectum but with a slight left turn into sigmoid colon then to the decending colon and further up with a sharp right turn into the transverse colon. Enemas only reach so far and after that you meet faecal matter (shit) so people having a colonscope where the camera and light at the front and highly flexible is 2 ins in diameter, have to have bowel prep which is a diet to follow and take 2 sachets of picolax several hours apart and lots of water, litres and litres and then spend the next 24 hours mostly in the toilet, as we call it spring cleaning for the bowel, clearing you top to bottom and only water allowed until you have the scope. You have sedation usually midazolam (gives you short term memory loss) and Fentanyl (opiate painkiller 100 times more powerful than morphine) IV and a drip. It is extremely painful reaching the upper areas of the decending bowel and even getting into the transverse is so painful it breaks through the sedation/painkiller. Used to see tumours and other conditions. With a dildo you would of met shit and if you pushed too hard perforated you bowel and died. So really, did you put 17 inch dildo up your arse,long enough to go into your transverse colon with that tricky 90° right turn, didn't meet any shit (apart from your boast) and could overcome tremendous pain and not rupture your bowel?!!! So let's have the truth....and remember Doctors and Nurses read these stories!!!

Loved the story - but just as an aside, aspirin actually prevents liver damage. Acetameniphen (Tylenol) is what is traditionally known as dangerous for the liver, and non-aspirin NSAIDs such as ibuprofen have recently been linked to stroke/heart attack risk increase. lol I know this has nothing to do with erotica, and your story is fantastic - but if it were me writing this? (and I do write a ton - I'm actually a professional author), I would have had Jack (the athlete) share his prescription pain killers with his victim, since he's most likely on them (athletes are always getting hurt) and since opiate prescriptions, added Tylenol not withstanding, are the only things that don't increase the risk of liver damage and heart attack/stroke. Plus... let's be honest. They're also the only medications that actually work. And also - it's the very least Jack owes him. ;)

It is a shame the writer does not want to go where her original compass was logically taking her. The bad character wants to take a straight woman by force or drug. She chooses a drug to take her UNWILLING partner. But then the writer is squeamish about dealing with the context she herself created and we end up with a completely sober shell of a heroine who is actually behaving like she just took a mild painkiller or just had a few drinks too many -and yet is so aware of what is going on but will not say no. In other words, the character is too sober to be drugged and also too dumb to catch on to her own being drugged.
With a few tweaks and a genuine commitment to the non-consent part and a continued story , not the plot-interruptus we got, this would be a worthwhile story , as the writer has no problem with ambience descriptions but the characterization was not there for the heroine, nor the self-awareness necessary and emotions as to what is really going on.
