Jeezbus. This is an extremely well written piece, so much so that I want to pimp slap McAllister for being an insecure little whelp of a human and letting his imposter syndrome mutate into pure incel logic like necrotizing fasciitis.

Ironic that I'm hopped up on prednisone & some antibiotics that I think are called Godzilla. I've got pneumonia gagantuosa, & lo & behold your story speaks to me. I love the sweet, gentleness of this story, how so many people show their concern & caring. The worst thing after a rape is the loneliness & I'm glad that wasn't part of the mix. You are a joy to read & a gifted writer. I'm moving on to the next installment, happily, because I have the company of a beloved writers stories to help me heal.

Courtship had more red flags pop up than in the annual running of the bulls, yet our put-upon protagonist can't hear the sound of the Mack truck bearing down on him, at full ramming speed.
Goodness, do all such folks have to be possessed of IQs lower than their age? How does this guy manage to dress himself?
Given all that family and friends dished out on him, I'm surprised that: (a) he hadn't been institutionalized; and (b) his revenge was so weak...poison ivy/oak for most folks, a few days of prednisone will handle that.

I love this story except for the part that Master Joshua Greenbriar punishes and humiliates his “Sex Slave” Beth in front of her former Mistress Theresa Layton and her submissives. Had it been me, I would have asked Hannah to leave me tied up until morning and/or kicked my food and water bowls that my owner placed on the floor. It appears, Mr. Greenbriar has some social issue involving sex with Beth, that actor Richard Gere (Edward Lewis) had commitment issues with actress Julia Roberts (Vivian “Viv” Ward) in the movie “Pretty Woman”.
If hired to replace Phil, I believe my 37 years of Military experience, as a Communication Specialist, will benefit the ship operations and my Certification as a “Spin” Instructor, competing and qualifying for the four Boston Marathons, competing in the inaugural Walt Disney World “Goofy Challenge (the “Goofy Challenge” consists of running a Half Marathon on Saturday, which I earned 5th place in the Military Division, and a full Marathon on Sunday, which I qualified for the Boston Marathon) will benefit Beth. I also competed in 140-mile bike events and 2.4-mile swim events. Unfortunately; my body breaks down when competing in a full Ironman.
If selected, I would recommend that MR. Greenbriar install an “Endless Pool” to allow Beth to continue her swim training while the ship sails to each destination. I would also recommend adding “Spin” bikes and train Beth to utilize the “Spin” Bike” verses the Treadmill running due the Treadmill causes a runner to adjust their outdoor run stride to accommodate the speed of the treadmill. Also, the treadmill causes injuries, such as, Plantar Fasciitis, like it did to me, because of its hard surface. After competing in the Boston Marathon by training indoors, I had to stop training for six months and get orthotics. However, I developed a training technique to utilize the “Spin” bike to perform my runs. I placed the handlebars high enough to maintain my standing balance with a light touch of two fingers. I also conducted a three hour “Spin” class every Sunday. Although my Marathon slowed from 3:10:47 to 3:15:17, I still qualified for the Boston Marathon for my age group.
I understand MR. Greenbriar hired Beth to be a “Sex Slave”, but I believe MR. Greenbriar will accommodate my equipment and training recommendations if they allow Beth to continue her Ironman training while reducing potential injuries to Beth. I know the entire crew enjoys their healthy “Sex Slave”.

I met an Armenian girl who was, is, a friend of one of my daughters; petite little girl, long curly black hair, eyes so black they hypnotize. She's just lovely; all perky and saucy. The desert's quiet, Cleveland's cold, so the story ends we're told. Poncho needs your prayers it's true, but save a few for Lefty too. He only did what he had to do, and now he's growing old. (They played it on the radio...)
You guys are going to be sorry when Poncho's gone and you didn't give him one measly tip of the hat. That's thoughtless indifference to a national institution.
The story's still pretty good in a silly sort of way, but shouldn't the sun be up by now? There's going to be a lot of commuter traffic, and I bet a lot of people are double parked. Can't remember the name of the island in the Arctic where they think the last Mammoths lived. Save that damn pachyderm; I heard some nefarious Zambians were out to get his tusks.
These things should all be getting fives; for balls if nothing else. (Elephants have big balls)
Oh, oh I just felt a rush of blood to the head! The damn Prednisone is kicking in. By for now...
